@Gold Wade We would have to check the source of the myth, though. There were a lot of versions. Like Medusa’s case. In the oldest tales, she was a gorgon same as her sisters, except mortal. Then in a Roman reinterpretation, they made her a priestess of Athena that got cursed by her after either being raped by Poseidon or making love with him. Obviously, Fate went with the first version of her legend. (although Athena still cursed her to be hated by men, due to jealousy. URGH!)
